I’ve spent time in Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and the Mojave desert in my lifetime and while I very much enjoy my current environment in the rainy Pacific Northwest, there’s something about the dry air and the sun on your face that only the desert can offer.

The rattan egg chair below was what started my desert decor search. I immediately imagined myself in it, curled up with throw pillows and a good book. While my living room doesn’t have the space for this gorgeous rattan cocoon, I’m in luck because it’s actually an OUTDOOR chair! Ha! Who’d have thought, right? The flexibility is definitely a plus and this badboy might be making an appearance on my patio this summer.
